Basic Coastal Cruising
A Big Boat Sailing Fundamentals Course
Gain knowledge and build confidence for sailing a cruising keelboat!
Learn how to skipper an inboard auxiliary-powered sloop in moderate conditions. Classes are taught aboard our Hunter 33’ sloop based out of Salem Harbor.

10am - 1130pm - Morning Land-Based Classroom

12:00pm - 5:00pm - On-the-water Class
COST: $899 per person
REQUIREMENTS:
We require that this course is preceded by a basic sailing course and/or the student has basic sailing capabilities and knowledge.

Gain your Basic Cruising Certification in one weekend!
Your weekend class will include a written test and practical assessment.
Prequisite:
Students taking this class are required to have completed a US Sailing Basic Keelboat class having gained their certification.
