Enjoy Salem Sound and explore the world of sailing with this 2 hour introductory sail with some instruction.

You will learn some basic sailing language and an overview of how sails work.

Students who want to progress, can then take our Basic Sailing weekend class.

Upon successfully passing a theory and practical assessment, you will receive the Qualified Crew Rank that goes onto your sailing resume. This gives you the confidence in your ability to understand the workings on the sailboat while you contribute as a knowledgeable and competent crew member.
