After seven successful years Satori Sailing founder Capt. James Ashton has recently sold the company to Graham Sharp, one of the current instructors.
Capt. James, who is looking to take some time off from professional sailing, said;
“It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since I founded Satori Sailing in 2019 with just me and my beloved Capri 22, SATORI.
Seven years later, alongside an incredible team of captain/instructors, we’ve helped hundreds of people achieve their sailing dreams—through first-rate sailing instruction and unforgettable day charter experiences. Satori Sailing has been one of the greatest adventures of my life. It has blessed me in countless ways, especially through the wonderful friendships formed along the way. Thanks to the team and to all our customers for an amazing ride!
Satori Sailing has become such an important part of the Marblehead community, I am glad Graham is taking over and will maintain our culture of supporting the local Community and Teaching Excellence”.
Graham added: “I would like to thank James and all our Satori clients for their support over the years and going forward I look forward to serving everyone with the same level of expertise and professionalism.”
Please join us to celebrate and kick off the new season on 3rd June at 6.00pm at the Landing in Marblehead. To help with logistics please RSVP here:
