Powerboat Proficiency Course

Become more competent and confident operating a powerboat. Take friends and family out safely without stress, improving your enjoyment of boating.

Practical 1/2 day, on the Water:

Private class, on the students own boat, with up to 2 additional friends/family:

· Preparation and Planning

· Starting procedures

· Engine Operation & troubleshooting

· Basic Electrical and Water systems

· Close-quarter maneuvers

· Docking, Mooring & Anchoring

· Operating at speed and trim controls

· Person overboard procedures

· Fueling procedures

· VHF Radio Operation

On the water Courses operate most weekend mornings and afternoons from 10.00am, Weekdays may also be available on request.
