SLC Assesment

Before applying for the SLC assessment and certification we recommend the students work with us to ensure the necessary experience and confidence, perhaps doing some mile building on their own, or one of our boats, or maybe even taking the Advanced Coastal Cruising Course.

The SLC assessment and certification takes a full day, with a 1 hr. written plotting test, followed by 6 hrs. on the water demonstrating the skills required to Bareboat charter.
